Remember the days when cycling was really hard work, especially when the derailleur broke down or the chain fell off, which was not uncommon. The worst thing was a steep hill, when you had to push your bike alongside you and walk, beads of sweat on your forehead. Remember, those were the golden days, right? Times have moved on, and ultra-sophisticated bikes are now available, but you rarely see them because they\’re definitely not trendy anymore!

The trend today is for so-called e-bikes or e-scooters, depending on your preference. If we want to buy a better bike, we\’ll pay extra, and for that price, we can get an electric bike. Honestly, who wouldn\’t want a bike that does all the hard work for you, meaning no more panting uphill, no more pushing your bike up steep hills—that\’s all in the past.
These bikes are everywhere, and you can choose from different brands and even decide whether you want a bike for the city, for off-road riding, or simply a combination of both. There are also different colors and designs to choose from, depending on gender, and they even offer children\’s bikes.
A fully equipped electric bike will set you back a pretty penny, with some costing as much as a well-used car. But don\’t despair, there are cheaper options that are affordable for everyone.

What do you think about these bikes? We think that the classic is simply the best. The enjoyment of riding must include everything, including the effort. For older people, i.e., active seniors, this can be great. They can ride bikes with their grandchildren without worrying that they won\’t be able to keep up, or they can use them for short trips to the store or to run errands. People with limited mobility, i.e., people who cannot exert themselves too much through sports, will also appreciate such bikes. Above all, be careful, especially when cycling in traffic, and follow the rules!
Exercise for your health, but above all, enjoy riding!
