Almost everything we look at is wrapped in plastic packaging. What we might have laughed at decades ago has become a reality. No one wanted to believe that bottled water would one day be sold in plastic bottles. But it didn’t stop there, and now virtually all kinds of food are packaged, including cheese, dairy products, and cold cuts. Even when goods aren’t packaged, we’ve been conditioned to ask for a plastic bag and put everything inside it. Fortunately, a lot has changed these days, and thanks to package-free stores, we can avoid such packaging and plastic bags. Even some supermarkets now offer packaging-free weighing at their scales, which is, on the other hand, a truly great success. We want a better environmentWhen we ask someone about this topic, everyone definitely wants it. But of course, everyone has to do their part to make it happen. And it takes very little. Support these packaging-free stores and buy all your goods in your own bags—even ones you’ve sewn yourself. Stop being indifferent, even in this small way. In the end, there will be far less of this waste material, and over time, the environment will actually improve. How do you shop at a store like this?It’s simple. Just bring your own jars, boxes, or cloth bags. If you don’t have anything yet, no problem—you can buy these containers right there. Alternatively, some shops also offer returnable glass containers. We have the container weighed, then fill it with the selected goods and head to the checkout. Here, we simply pay and can happily head home. It’s very simple, and it’s definitely worth noting that we’ll reduce a lot of unnecessary waste, thereby helping the environment. It’s true that society as a whole probably won’t change to shop under these favorable conditions, but even a few people can make a big difference. Their reward will be high-quality products, mostly from Czech manufacturers, which will also support the domestic market. 4/5 - (1 vote) "},{"@context":"https://schema.org/","@type":"BreadcrumbList
@type":"ListItem
